Application
Ammophos 12-52 is a planting NP compound with lower N and slightly higher P than standard DAP (NP 18:46). Used in soil regimes where supplementary nitrogen is supplied separately at top-dressing and the planting application focuses on phosphate establishment.
For Kenya, ammophos overlaps DAP demand and is typically priced at a small discount per MT. Used by FAFB-registered blenders and in selected county-government and MoALD / KNTC / NCPB-administered NFSP volumes.
