Application

Calcium nitrate combines nitrate-N with calcium — a highly soluble, plant-available form of both nutrients.

  • Greenhouse vegetables — tomato, capsicum, cucumber (calcium critical for cell-wall structure; nitrate-N for foliage)
  • Fertigation — high solubility, no precipitation in drip lines
  • Blossom-end-rot prevention — tomato production
  • Calcium-deficient soil correction
  • Specialty horticulture export crops

For Kenyan flower and vegetable export operations (Naivasha, Mt Kenya, Thika, Murang'a), CN is a standard greenhouse fertigation input.

Compliance

Buyer-side FAFB registration (Cap 345); Cotecna or CCIC PVoC for China-origin under the 2026–2029 KEBS PVoC cycle; KEBS CoC; CO; COA; weight cert.
