Application
Kenya's wheat-flour market is dominated by domestic milling (Unga, Pembe, Capwell, etc.). Imported flour is restricted by the EAC CET 60% Kenya stay that protects local milling.
Sarpah introduces wheat-flour cargo principally for:
- EAC re-export — Uganda, DRC, South Sudan
- Selected institutional / WFP procurement through UNGM tenders
- Specialty bakery flour — premium grades not produced domestically at scale
- Emergency-deficit windows under government waiver
